Cornelia Storz holds the Chair for the Study of Economic Institutions, Innovation and East Asian Development at Goethe University in Frankfurt. She graduated in Economics and Japanese studies from the University of Bonn in 1995 and received her PhD in Economics at the University of Duisburg in 1996. Before joining Goethe University of Frankfurt, she worked at the University of Marburg until 2008. Her primary area of research is innovation and entrepreneurship with a special focus on institutional contexts. Cornelia Storz is Academic Director of the Master Program Modern East Asian Studies and Member of the Board of Directors of the Interdisciplinary Centre for East Asian Studies (IZO). Her research projects are funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Volkswagen Foundation, the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
